Event Marketing Operations Intern | Insta360

The Tone:
This is an internship at Insta360, located in Los Angeles, CA. Insta360 is a 794-person organization that builds innovative photography, camera, and consumer tech products. This role is crucial for the US Events Team, supporting both backend operations and on-site execution to ensure the smooth running of all event-related activities, from internal processes and global coordination to inventory management and event production.

• Mission: Support the US Events Team in managing backend operations, coordinating with global HQ, and executing event production to ensure efficient and successful brand activations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Internal Operations: Streamline internal event workflows by assisting with approvals, documentation, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Production & Logistics: Facilitate event production processes, including vendor coordination, asset tracking, and comprehensive logistics planning.
• Inventory Management: Oversee product inventory, managing tracking, allocation, and write-offs across various events, while maintaining meticulous records of materials and shipments.
• Global Coordination: Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams at the China HQ, supporting governance processes, documentation, approvals, and reporting.
• Project & Event Support: Track timelines, budgets, and deliverables for multiple simultaneous events, assist in pre-event planning, and provide support for occasional on-site execution and post-event reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
• Experience: None explicitly required beyond academic pursuit.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools; Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
• Bonus: Interest in event marketing, brand activations, or consumer tech; Familiarity with inventory management, logistics, or production workflows; Previous internship or experience in events, operations, or marketing; Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
