Role Description: Event Intern (Part-time, Remote)
This is a part-time, remote opportunity for an Event Intern at Fini. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events. Key responsibilities include assisting with event promotion and marketing activities, as well as providing essential logistical and operational support.
The Event Intern will collaborate closely with various team members to coordinate event schedules, effectively liaise with vendors, and ensure all events run smoothly from start to finish. Furthermore, the intern will be actively involved in engaging with attendees to enhance their overall event experience and will be instrumental in gathering valuable feedback for continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication & Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide professional and effective support to attendees, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Event Planning Interest & Experience: A keen interest or prior experience in event planning and coordination, encompassing scheduling, logistics, and successful execution.
- Event Marketing & Sales Understanding: Basic knowledge of event marketing principles and a fundamental understanding of sales processes to effectively promote events.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Virtual Event Platforms: Experience or familiarity with virtual event platforms and tools is considered a significant plus.
- Proactive & Collaborative Attitude: A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field is an advantage.
