Environmental, Health & Safety Intern – Green Bay, WI – Year round | Schreiber Foods

This is a year-round internship at Schreiber Foods, located in Green Bay, WI. Schreiber Foods is a global dairy company that provides food solutions to customers worldwide. This Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Intern role is critical for supporting plant-specific EHS initiatives and company objectives, ensuring compliance and fostering a robust safety culture.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with the EHS team to gather and analyze safety data, developing safety metrics and reporting tools.
• Training Development: Assist in developing a plant safety training plan and preparing training materials, procedures, and documentation using Articulate software.
• Initiative Communication: Participate in EHS team meetings and discussions, providing insights and recommendations to communicate plant EHS initiatives.
• Procedure Development: Assist in developing Machine Specific Lockout Tagout procedures for plant equipment.
• Educational Material Creation: Develop EHS educational materials and tracking mechanisms for contractors and vendors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Experience: Commitment to work 40 hours per week during the summer and 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
• Skills: Strong research and data organization skills with attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
