Unarmed Security Officer Responsibilities:

As a Security Officer/Guard, you will be responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site. Your primary goal is to provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel. This includes:

  • Maintaining a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Patrolling assigned areas to ensure a secure environment.
  • Reporting any suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards.
  • Responding to emergencies as per protocol.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass a lifetime background check and a drug test.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance is mandatory per company policy: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Physical Requirements:

The role of a Security Officer/Guard involves various physical demands, including but not limited to:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
  • May involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
