What You’ll Actually Do
• Setup & Maintenance: Set up and maintain various machines used for pipe fabrication within the shop.
• Pipe Cutting: Accurately measure, record, add random pipe lengths, and cut pipe using a band saw and/or torch.
• Specialized Fabrication: Perform rolling, grooving, threading, and beveling of single and double random pipe lengths.
• Material Handling: Efficiently move loose and/or bundled pipe to and from different locations within the pipe yard.
• Order Assembly & Safety: Assemble pipe orders accurately and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by strictly adhering to all vital safety precautions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career professional ready to learn pipe fabrication operations.
• Experience: Not mandatory for this entry-level role, but any prior experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe is a plus.
• Skills: Outstanding math skills, including the ability to accurately calculate quantities of products on hand; ability to remain results-focused and efficient in a customer service-oriented environment; and a strong ability to thrive and contribute positively in an inclusive work environment.
• Bonus: Prior fabrication experience is preferred; experience and training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations is preferred.
