Entry Level NDT Technician | Acuren

In this embedded role, you will be crucial in supporting Nondestructive Testing operations, contributing directly to ensuring materials and structures meet vital safety and quality standards for our clients.

The TL;DR

• Team: Embedded within a client’s facility, supporting client NDT operations.
• Mission: Assist in performing calibrations, various Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations to ensure materials and structures comply with acceptance criteria.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Equipment Operation: Set up and effectively utilize Nondestructive Test equipment to perform inspections.
• Record Keeping: Accurately record and document the results of all inspections performed.
• Procedural Support: Provide assistance during NDT procedures, including carrying equipment and aiding with other operational tasks.
• Task Management: Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by management to contribute to team efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Must possess the necessary experience, credentials, and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable, complying with federal and state regulations, which will be determined through a comprehensive background check and the ability to pass drug/alcohol screens per client requirements. A Motor Vehicle Driving record must also meet company standards to qualify for driving company vehicles.
• Skills: Ability to set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment, meticulous record-keeping, and capacity to provide support during NDT procedures and other operational tasks.
• Bonus: Some college education is preferred, and a technical background is desired.
