About the Opportunity: Entry Level Interior Designer

LPA is seeking a passionate Entry Level Interior Designer to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners. Our Education studio is dedicated to creating engaging environments that prioritize 21st-century skills at the center of learning. You will work primarily on education projects in Southern California, with the unique opportunity to collaborate extensively with our in-house multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, landscape, and interiors.

You’ll be part of a team that has successfully completed impactful projects such as the Environmental Nature Center Preschool, Tarbut V’Torah, and Eastvale STEM Academy, truly “walking the talk” in changing lives by design.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA.
  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of specific assignments.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects.
  • Review and process construction administration documents.
  • Attend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 0-2 years of experience in all phases of Interior Design projects.
  • Experience with Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Committed to building a long-term professional career.
