What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Design: Design and implement data processing solutions using AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, and Kafka for both real-time and batch needs.
• Enterprise Search: Design and deploy enterprise search platforms like Elasticsearch to support scalable and efficient data discovery.
• Web Application Hosting: Lead the development and hosting of web applications on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Security Architecture: Define and implement robust security architectures, including WAF policies and CDN caching strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Expertise in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Experience: 10+ years in cloud architecture, with hands-on expertise in AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, Kafka. Experience with Elasticsearch or similar enterprise search technologies, and proficiency in CloudFront, WAF, and other AWS security services. Experience hosting and scaling websites using AWS services such as S3, EC2, ECS, or Amplify.
• Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Bonus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification. Experience in enterprise-scale environments or regulated industries. Familiarity with observability tools like CloudWatch or Datadog.
