The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ericsson, located in Noida, India. Ericsson builds advanced information systems and automation solutions, driving innovation in telecommunications and related software. This Automation Architect role is pivotal, acting as both a hands-on developer and a solution architect. The position is essential for designing, building, and delivering robust automation solutions across the entire Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical standards.

• Mission: Design, build, and deliver robust automation solutions across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) that meet business objectives and technical standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Architecture: Act as both solution architect and hands-on developer to design, develop, and implement automation systems and backend services.
• Hybrid Solution Delivery: Architect and deliver hybrid use-case solutions by integrating multiple tools, frameworks, and platforms to address complex business needs.
• Design Leadership: Lead automation design decisions across projects, ensuring all solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and performance-driven.
• Production Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues and defects in production systems with a focus on stability and reliability.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor, guiding developers on coding standards, design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, or MCA, with a focus on backend development and solution architecture.
• Experience: 7-10 years of backend development experience, including 3+ years in solution design and architecture.
• Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, OOP concepts, design principles, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and concurrency; Proven experience with containers, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs; Solid understanding of system design and architecture, with experience transitioning from low-level implementation to high-level solution design.
• Bonus: Demonstrated ability to work across multiple tools and technologies; Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills; Excellent communication, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
