Entry-Level Developmental Therapist | Soar Autism Center
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Soar Autism Center, located at various Soar locations, including future centers in Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Thornton. Soar Autism Center provides specialized care based on the Early Start Denver Model for children with early autism. This role is crucial for helping children grow, learn, and thrive by providing direct care and support. It is an opportunity to be an integral part of a mission-driven team dedicated to innovating in autism care.

• Mission: To serve as the primary caregiver, directly teaching new skills to children with early autism in a 1:1 setting to ensure their comprehensive growth.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Care: Serve as the primary caregiver, teaching new skills to children in a 1:1 setting and ensuring their comprehensive growth.
• Play-Based Learning: Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday child care moments into opportunities for teaching essential life skills.
• Plan Implementation: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding ESDM principles and Soar’s model fidelity.
• Family Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights into their child’s progress and offering guidance on best child care practices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, or related educational experience such as a Bachelor’s in psychology or child development.
• Experience: Prior experience in child care settings like daycare, nannying, or similar positions.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for building connections with young children and their families, effective teamwork abilities, reliable transportation, and punctuality.
