About Cascades Greenpac Mill

Started in 2013, Greenpac Mill is a state-of-the-art 100% recycled linerboard mill located in Niagara Falls, NY. This facility proudly supplies the corrugated box industry. Thanks to numerous technological advances, Greenpac manufactures one of the best linerboards in the industry and is recognized as a leader in terms of sustainable development.

What We Offer

As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience learning the papermaking process and contribute to impactful projects across multiple potential areas, including stock preparation, wet end, and dry end.

The manufacturing process begins at stock preparation, where old corrugated cardboard (OCC) is transformed into usable stock using a pulper and multiple physical separation processes to meticulously filter out undesired materials such as metal and plastic. In the wet end of the paper machine, the focus is on forming a strong, high-quality sheet and initiating the dewatering process through a combination of chemistry, gravity, vacuum, and pressing. Finally, at the dry end of the paper machine, the dewatering process is completed utilizing steam cans, and the paper is precisely wound tightly into customer rolls.

Throughout your projects, you will be professionally coached on valuable skills such as Lean Six Sigma tools, data analysis, and effective meeting facilitation – skills that are highly transferable to any industry. You will also collaborate with engineers, technical professionals, and production technicians on critical process improvement projects relating to efficiency, reducing machine downtime, enhancing product quality, and more.
