This position supports the Power & Energy team in designing and constructing structural elements for renewable energy projects. • Mission: Assist in the research, design, concept development, and construction of load-bearing structures for renewable energy projects.
• Tech Stack: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, InRoads, Geopak, GeoSlope, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from physical sites, surveys, blueprints, GIS, and geotechnical information for project development.
• Structural Engineering Support: Perform basic structural engineering work, assisting with research and inspections of site conditions to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Technical Assistance: Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and operating strategies to account for the safety and functionality of end-users and infrastructure.
• Documentation: Generate complete, accurate, and concise project documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and work logs.
• Safety Compliance: Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures, which include location data, statistical documentation, and engineering studies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline, for an early career role.
• Experience: 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience; familiarity with design/build processes and concepts; familiarity with relevant structural and civil construction laws, codes, and regulations.
• Skills: Excellent research and analytical abilities; strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse audiences; proficient self-leadership with attention to detail and prioritization in a dynamic work environment; basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, and discipline-specific design software.
• Bonus: Engineer in Training Certification; prior internship related to the degree of study and engineering discipline; active participation in local professional practice organizations.
