Early Career Mechanical Engineer | Lockheed Martin

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Oversight: Oversee assigned projects from their inception to their completion.
• Drawing Review: Access and thoroughly review contract drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Design Implementation: Implement necessary changes to designs and associated documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Actively participate in project work that is oriented around a team structure.
• Documentation: Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and various reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent related field, possessing a solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience: Experience on at least one team-based technical project.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Teams, alongside foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering principles, including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis.
• Bonus: The ability to produce clear, concise, and audience-focused technical documentation, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, effective written and verbal communication skills, and basic to intermediate knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts.
