What You’ll Actually Do
• Sustainment: Ensure fielded support equipment remains operational and meets crucial production test needs.
• Analysis: Conduct circuit design and analysis for system components.
• Interpretation: Utilize and interpret schematic, assembly, and interconnect diagrams for technical understanding.
• Troubleshooting: Adeptly utilize laboratory equipment to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates for this early career position should possess a Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Equivalent experience combined with relevant education will also be considered.
• Experience: Applicants must demonstrate a firm understanding of assembly, interconnect, and schematic diagrams. They should also be familiar with basic electrical test equipment, including power supplies, meters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition devices.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading schematic diagrams, performing circuit design or analysis, and adeptly utilizing laboratory equipment to troubleshoot hardware issues is essential. Competency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
• Bonus: Desired qualifications include a firm understanding of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques relevant to the field. Experience in developing or sustaining automated test system hardware configurations, along with associated procedures, is a plus. Candidates with experience in troubleshooting automated test failures and executing root cause analysis, or familiarity with automated test methodologies, will be highly valued. Familiarity with hardware communication interfaces such as MXI, PXI, VXI, GPIB, and TCP/IP, as well as issue and project-tracking tools like Jira and Confluence, is also beneficial.
