About the Internship

The Discovery Internship is a program designed to provide college freshmen and sophomores with an inside look at what it’s really like to work for Deloitte. The program is open to students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, cyber, STEM, or related fields.

What you’ll do

Client Projects: You will be assigned to one or more client projects where you will receive mentorship and support. This allows you to experience real-world scenarios and contribute to client engagements.
Learning and Networking Events: You’ll participate in national and local learning events to develop your skills and network with other Deloitte professionals.
Training and Development: The program offers ongoing learning opportunities through lunch and learns, industry spotlights, and regularly scheduled training sessions focused on technical and client service skills.
Networking and Social Activities: The internship provides opportunities to build a cross-functional professional network through social activities.

How you’ll grow

Mentorship: You will be assigned a mentorship team, including a counselor and onboarding advisor, to offer guidance and support.
Formal Evaluation: A formal goal-setting and evaluation process helps you track your progress and identify areas for improvement.
Future Opportunities: Depending on your performance, you may have the opportunity to receive a subsequent internship opportunity at Deloitte. Freshman interns might continue in the Discovery program during their sophomore summer, while sophomore interns may receive a client service internship offer at the end of the program.

Currently pursuings

Required:

• College student with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 with definitive plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in an accounting, business, cyber, STEM, or related field.
• Strong academic track record (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0) with extracurricular activities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• Ability to commute to a designated office location, as the current work environment is a hybrid approach (30-50% co-location).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Preferred:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Demonstrated leadership, such as in a campus club, society, sports teams, or other activities.
• Demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity.

Compensation

The estimated wage range for this role is $32/hour.
