The Tone:
This is a Director-level, in-house role at a Skilled Nursing Facility, located in East Moline, IL. Evolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization dedicated to hiring compassionate therapists for its partner facilities. This position is vital for overseeing and managing all therapy operations within the facility, ensuring patients receive the best possible therapy services. The Director of Rehabilitation plays a key role in upholding company standards, regulatory requirements, and fostering a collaborative environment with the interdisciplinary team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the therapy program in the assigned facility, aligning services with established company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Compliance Oversight: Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines, including HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and resident rights.
• Procedural Establishment: Collaborate with the facility’s interdisciplinary team to establish facility-specific therapy procedures and provide essential training to all therapy staff on these established procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Guarantee that therapists deliver services according to regulatory standards, established practices, and company procedures, while also meeting productivity and documentation requirements for billing.
• Patient Engagement: Foster professional and respectful interactions with patients and their family members, actively addressing and fulfilling their service requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology is required for this Director of Rehabilitation role.
• Experience: Candidates must possess an active license (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in the state(s) of practice and demonstrate ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.
• Skills: The role demands excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal leadership and communication skills, alongside strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PDPM and MDS management.
