Part-Time Director of Men’s Lacrosse Operations | University of Denver

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at the University of Denver, located in Denver, CO. The Division of Athletics is seeking a Director of Operations for its Men’s Lacrosse Varsity Program. This position is crucial for managing the daily operational needs of the team, ensuring smooth travel, and providing essential support for practices and games. The role directly contributes to the program’s efficiency and success by handling key logistical and administrative functions.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Solve daily operational challenges and coordinate logistics for the men’s lacrosse team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Travel Coordination: Coordinate team travel for away competitions.
• Event Support: Provide management support for practices and games, both home and away.
• Expense Management: Reconcile team travel expenses using the Concur System.
• Vendor Payments: Coordinate payments for referees and other Men’s Lacrosse vendors in conjunction with the Budget office.
• Video Editing: Assist with video editing of practice and game day film as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; experience at a director level in operations or athletics support is implied by the title.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in travel coordination, expense reconciliation, administrative support, and event management.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and problem-solving capabilities.
