Director, Market Access Marketing (Pipeline) | Neurocrine Biosciences

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Neurocrine Biosciences, located in San Diego, CA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Leadership: Lead the development of U.S. Market Access strategies, identifying key issues, opportunities, and developing product positioning and messaging for payers and providers.
• Performance Accountability: Accountable for the performance and results of Market Access Marketing within the assigned franchise, proactively managing opportunities, risks, and resources.
• Educational Development: Develop strategies, programs, and collateral to educate physicians and physician staff on matters related to reimbursement and market access.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Co-lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive Pharmacy network strategies.
• Commercial Planning: Lead Market Access contributions to annual and longer-range commercial planning, establishing strategic priorities and budget recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, health policy, scientific, or a related field; Director-level leadership for Market Access Marketing.
• Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in payer marketing, access, managed markets, market development, and/or account management in a US pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical organization, with extensive managerial experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in product positioning and messaging; in-depth knowledge of drug development, regulatory review, and commercialization processes for specialty products, including limited distribution models; ability to effectively represent the commercial perspective during Medical/Regulatory/Legal review of promotional materials using Veeva Vault Promo.
• Bonus: Experience in CNS, rare disease, and pharmacy benefit products; experience in product launches and with products in a limited distribution model.
