Sr. HCP Marketing Manager – CAH | Neurocrine Biosciences

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Neurocrine Biosciences, located in San Diego, CA. Neurocrine Biosciences is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to discovering, developing, and commercializing treatments for neurological, psychiatric, endocrine, and immunological disorders, with a purpose to relieve suffering for people with great needs. This role is crucial for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at healthcare professionals to drive growth for treatments in Classic Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). The Sr. HCP Marketing Manager will ensure effective engagement with specialists and centers of excellence to expand brand presence and patient identification.

• Mission: Lead insights-driven, brand-aligned initiatives to engage CAH centers of excellence, adrenal specialists, high-volume endocrinologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support Neurocrine’s growth objectives in CAH.

What You’ll Actually Do
Develop Strategy: Contribute to the annual brand plan, HCP engagement plan, and manage budget allocation to define and execute brand strategy.
Partner Cross-functionally: Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Market Insights, Regional Marketing, and Medical Affairs to define HCP segmentation, align messaging, and support field tools, training, and execution.
Lead Digital Engagement: Design and execute integrated digital marketing strategies for HCP audiences, leveraging paid media, CRM, email, web, social, and search to drive disease awareness, brand engagement, and patient identification.
Oversee Event Presence: Manage the brand’s presence at national, regional, and local congresses and medical meetings, while supporting field-led educational initiatives.
Manage Content and Agencies: Develop clear, compelling HCP marketing content that translates complex scientific data and oversee external agencies and budgets to ensure timely, high-quality execution and accurate financial tracking.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a BS/BA degree in marketing or life sciences, combined with 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical product marketing, sales, or pharmaceutical advertising agencies. This role requires recognized subject matter expertise with deep domain knowledge and broad understanding of related areas.
• Experience: Requires at least 3 years of direct HCP marketing experience and proven experience managing advertising Agency of Record activities.
• Skills: Possess excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities to simplify complex information for diverse audiences. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing market research and performance data to inform decisions. Exhibit strong project management and operational execution skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and deadlines effectively and independently.
• Bonus: Prior experience in Endocrinology and/or rare diseases is beneficial. An MBA is preferred, or a PharmD/PhD with 4+ years of similar experience. Demonstrated success in designing digital and omnichannel campaigns, including microtargeting and next-best-action approaches, is a plus.
