Development Intern | Terros Health
The Tone:
This is a paid part-time internship at Terros Health, located in Phoenix, AZ. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (20 hours/week)
• Location: In-person, Phoenix, AZ
• Team: Reports to the Director of Development and supports the Development team
• Mission: Supports the Director of Development and the Development team on key projects, applying academic knowledge to practical application in a healthcare setting.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Coordination: Assist the Development team with researching event space contracts, food and beverage options, and ordering necessary supplies and audiovisual equipment.
• Vendor Management: Serve as a liaison with event vendors, and conduct site visits to research resources and inform event planning decisions.
• On-site Production: Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Development team to propose new ideas for improving the event planning and implementation process.
• Administrative Support: Prepare event materials and assist with tracking financial aspects like check requests, invoicing, reporting, and coordinating appointments and scheduling.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in English, Communication, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Must have experience with event planning and management, and the ability to work on occasion at night and/or weekends for events.
