The Tone:

• Pay: $75000–$105000 yearly
• Mission: This role is dedicated to applying advanced analytical techniques to complex datasets to drive discoveries, develop prototypes, and enhance products within health research.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate solutions: Conduct exploratory data analysis on complex, high-dimensional datasets to produce innovative insights.
• Advance research: Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns and make valuable discoveries.
• Develop models: Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to ensure optimal value extraction from data.
• Test hypotheses: Generate and test hypotheses, then accurately analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.
• Implement solutions: Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features, providing guidelines for large-scale implementation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates will ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with related work experience, or a Master’s degree. This role can be hired at an entry, developing, or career level depending on qualifications.
• Experience: For the Data Scientist I level, a bachelor’s degree requires 2 years of directly related work experience, or a master’s degree with no additional experience. Progressively higher levels (Data Scientist II and III) require more experience, such as 4-6 years with a bachelor’s or 2-4 years with a master’s degree.
• Skills: Proficiency in statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics.
• Bonus: A Master’s Degree is preferred.
