What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Verification: Verify data entry to ensure timely and accurate processing of client payroll and billing.
• Customer Support: Provide timely and professional responses to all customer inquiries.
• Database Management: Set up new customers, perform data entry, and accurately maintain all customer databases, including client payroll and billing data.
• Transaction Processing: Process credits and rebills, and update customer folders to reflect current payroll and billing instructions.
• Client Training: Assist clients in developing effective reporting processes and provide training on the usage of payroll and billing platform software.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of basic accounting principles including payroll, payroll taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash posting.
• Experience: No specific years required. Familiarity with payroll processing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and time management abilities, Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, Proficiency in MS Office and various software, Ability to understand data relationships across multiple databases and reconcile numerical differences, Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• Bonus: Previous experience in payroll processing.
