What You’ll Actually Do
• Credit Application Support: Provide assistance to loan officers in the processing and review of credit applications.
• Client Evaluation: Develop and analyze credit information to assess the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients.
• Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive credit reports, including accurate summaries and cash flow analyses for decision-makers.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze and evaluate borrowers’ creditworthiness using Financial and Tax Return Spreads.
• Loan Proposal Management: Prepare factual summaries and credit approvals for submission and review by the Chief Credit Officer and/or Management Loan Committee.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with foundational knowledge in credit underwriting.
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of credit underwriting experience in consumer, commercial, construction, and/or SBA lending.
• Skills: Strong analytical and evaluation skills for financial data and tax returns, excellent communication skills, and proficient report preparation skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with banking rules and regulations; bilingual in Chinese is a plus.
