The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Meow Wolf, located in Los Angeles, CA, offering a unique experience to university students. Meow Wolf strives to be the world’s leading creative company, reimagining art and storytelling through immersive and interactive experiences that transport audiences into fantastic realms of exploration. We are currently building a new exhibition in Los Angeles, and this role is crucial for bringing our collective imagination to life. As a Creative Intern, you will directly support the Creative and Art Direction teams, managing communication and coordinating workflow to ensure the creative vision for this exciting project is implemented on time and within budget, ultimately making a positive difference in the world through art and exploration.

• Mission: To assist in managing communication and workflow for the creative team, ensuring the implementation of the creative vision and successful completion of an installation project.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Workflow Coordination: Assist Creative Producers in managing team communication and coordinating the creative team’s workflow.
• Project Oversight: Support Creative Producers by scheduling budget and schedule reviews to ensure the creative vision remains on track.
• Installation Support: Aid the Creative Direction team in coordinating various aspects of the installation process for successful project completion.
• Meeting Management: Schedule meetings, create agendas, and meticulously document notes with after-action plans.
• Presentation Development: Prepare presentations for diverse audiences, including internal teams, executive leadership, media, and the public.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled at an LA-based college or university. Applicants must also be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as Meow Wolf is unable to sponsor employment visas.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to live within commuting distance of Los Angeles for the internship period and commitment to availability for the entire duration from June 8th to August 14th, 2026. This is a part-time position, with a maximum of 29 hours per week, expected to operate within the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.
• Skills: Exceptional discretion for handling confidential projects, strong commitment, self-directed initiative, and proven capability to work effectively with diverse artists and executive leaders. Proficiency in creating impactful presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote is also essential.
