Creative Content Internship | Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club

The Tone:
This is an internship at Florida Everblades Professional Hockey Club, located in Estero, FL. The Florida Everblades is a premier ECHL hockey team, and Hertz Arena is a leading multi-purpose entertainment venue. This role is crucial for capturing, editing, and producing compelling video and photo content that engages fans and promotes events. The intern will contribute directly to the visual storytelling of a professional sports team and a live entertainment venue.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Capture: Capture high-quality video and photography for Florida Everblades games, Hertz Arena events, concerts, and promotional campaigns.
• Video Production: Edit video content for game recaps, highlight reels, player interviews, and promotional teasers for various digital and in-arena platforms.
• Photo Delivery: Edit and deliver photo assets for use across social media, digital marketing, web, print, and in-arena displays.
• Live Event Support: Assist in live event coverage, including capturing real-time moments for both video and photo needs.
• Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure visual content aligns with brand standards, campaign goals, and storytelling objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in Film, Video Production, Photography, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro); proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop); experience with professional video and photography equipment, including DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio. A portfolio or reel showcasing videography and/or photography work is required for consideration.
• Skills: Strong understanding of composition, lighting, storytelling, and visual aesthetics for both video and photography; ability to work efficiently in deadline-driven environments; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Passion for sports, entertainment, or live event production; ability to adapt creative work based on feedback from supervisors and stakeholders; strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
