This is an entry-level, full-time role at Seneca Foods, located in Glencoe, MN. Seneca Foods is a leading provider of packaged fruits and vegetables across North America, sourcing high-quality products from over 1,400 American farms. The company distributes to over 90 countries and manages popular brands like Libby’s®, Green Giant (Shelf-Stable)®, and Seneca labels. • Mission: Manages and analyzes costs to support efficient financial operations and reporting at the Glencoe processing facility.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable and receiving processes for the facility.
• Reporting: Track operational data and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
• Reconciliations: Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile various accounts.
• Costing: Develop and maintain standard cost information for products and operations.
• Budgeting: Support the quarterly forecasting and bi-annual budgeting processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated general knowledge of financial accounting procedures is required.
• Experience: No prior work experience is required; however, experience in Accounting or Inventory is preferred.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
