Private Equity Intern | ARILEX Holdings, LLC dba Theofilis Group
The Tone:
This is a remote internship at ARILEX Holdings, LLC d/b/a Theofilis Group, located remotely within the United States. Theofilis Group is a private, family-owned holding company that acquires well-established, profitable service businesses in essential industries throughout the Greater Atlanta metropolitan area. This role is central to identifying and initiating contact with potential acquisition targets, directly supporting the company’s growth through proprietary deal sourcing and business-owner outreach. Interns gain hands-on experience by directly contributing to active acquisition initiatives rather than just observing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Research privately held businesses that align with the company’s acquisition criteria.
• Prospecting: Build and maintain targeted acquisition prospect lists.
• Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to business owners to introduce Theofilis Group and determine interest in a sale.
• Qualification: Qualify prospective acquisition opportunities based on ownership, company history, revenue, profitability, and owner objectives.
• Scheduling: Schedule acquisition discussions between qualified owners and company leadership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated interest in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate development, sales, or entrepreneurship.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required; comfort initiating conversations with business owners and senior executives is expected.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication and a professional phone presence; self-motivation, persistence, organization, and accountability; ability to work independently in a remote environment; strong attention to detail and follow-through; proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Bonus: Prior cold-calling, appointment-setting, business development, or sales experience is preferred.
