What You’ll Actually Do
• Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit periodic reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and contributing to financial stability and effective risk management.
• Financial Reporting: Implement and maintain the firm’s integrated financial reporting program, including comprehensive financial statements, to guide decision-making and support long-term financial goals.
• Legal Entity Controllers (LEC): Oversee the financial integrity and compliance of specific legal entities, managing accounting functions and ensuring adherence to local accounting standards and firm policies.
• Reconciliations: Verify the accuracy and reliability of accounting data and management information, ensuring timely and complete recording, detecting errors, and resolving discrepancies.
• Product Controllers: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for trading desks and investment products, managing daily Profit & Loss, conducting independent valuations, and supporting risk management with performance insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with limited prior work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience: 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
• Skills: Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Candidates must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Essential attributes include the ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments, effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders. Additionally, commercial savviness, the ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential/sensitive information, integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment are required.
