The Tone:
This is a full-time role at KBR, located in WPAFB, Ohio. • Mission: Establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JIRA, SAE EIA-649C, EIA-649-1A, Military Standards (MILS)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lifecycle Support: Support Configuration and Data Management activities across acquisition development, production, and sustainment phases, encompassing Configuration Management, Data Management, Technical Order Management, Engineering Data Management, and Deficiency Reporting.
• Contractor Collaboration: Work collaboratively with prime contractors to ensure their Configuration and Data Management methods are appropriately applied and meet program standards.
• Expert Guidance: Provide functional expertise and guidance on Configuration and Data Management to meet organizational goals and mission requirements, establishing and maintaining consistency of product attributes.
• Data Requirements Management: Assist in the development and management of all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements and review program-unique specifications for compliance.
• Configuration Control & Audits: Support the configuration control function by processing change documents like ECPs and DRs, and plan/implement Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCAs/PCAs), confirming data adequacy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with a minimum of 8 years of dedicated Configuration and Data Management experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years in Configuration and Data Management, demonstrating extensive knowledge of government policies, directives, and DoD-adopted industry standards related to CM/DM. Proven familiarity with SAE EIA-649C, its defense supplement EIA-649-1A, and applicable military standards and handbooks. Demonstrated knowledge of CM/DM input requirements for program plans, SOWs, PWSs, CDRLs, RFPs, and Military Standards.
• Skills: An active TS/SCI Clearance is required. Possess excellent communication, leadership, and training skills, with the initiative to create CMDM and Technical Order processes aligned with Air Force and AFLCMC instructions. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA.
• Bonus: Experience in a SAP environment within the last 5 years is highly preferred.
