Service Core Manager | Everon
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Everon. Everon is an organization with over 100 locations and a deep national presence, providing comprehensive security and fire alarm solutions and services to customers and communities. This role is critical in leading the commercial service workforce, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the organization. You’ll be a key part of driving growth and efficiency within the service division.

• Mission: Owns the successful planning, implementation, and management of the Commercial Service workforce to achieve profit objectives, drive sales, and ensure client satisfaction.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Workforce Management: Plan, implement, and manage the activities of the Commercial Service workforce.
• Profitability Assurance: Ensure the Commercial Service group meets company gross profit objectives through field productivity, optimized scheduling, maximizing billings, and controlling costs.
• Sales and Growth: Direct and coordinate workforce activities to generate sales at or above company standards, and drive new customer acquisitions.
• Personnel Oversight: Determine staffing requirements, oversee interviewing, hiring, developing, and managing new employees, and conduct all annual and month-end performance reviews.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage departmental budgets, revenues, and expenses, authorize expenditures, and prepare reports to document financial results.
The Must-Haves
• Background: 4-year degree required. This is a management role in commercial service operations.
• Experience: 5–7 years of business experience in sales and/or operations, with a minimum of 3 years of related Field Leadership experience, preferably within the service industry and/or with security systems. Strong understanding of fire, CCTV, security, card access, and low-voltage systems, installation, and testing is required.
• Skills: Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management, financial and accounting principles and practices, employee relations, talent management/engagement, team building, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Superior management, time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to work with and influence peers and management. Expert familiarity with applicable codes (i.e. NFPA 25 and NFPA 72) is also required.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree preferred. Previous Business Growth P&L responsibility preferred.
