Client Onboarding Senior Officer (Night Shift) 1 | Alter Domus

The Tone:
This is an early career sales and origination program at Alter Domus, located in New York, United States, primarily focused on a night shift. Alter Domus administers $3.9 trillion in assets for clients in private markets, supported by over 7,000 colleagues across 23 jurisdictions. This role is crucial for learning the end-to-end sales process and contributing to the company’s growth by supporting senior sales professionals in attracting new business. It offers a unique apprenticeship opportunity to understand how origination functions and helps clients scale with confidence in complex private markets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• In-Depth Research: Produce comprehensive written account briefs on prospective clients, monitoring market data and regulatory sources to identify new opportunities.
• Technology and AI Enablement: Apply best-in-class commercial technology and approved AI tools to day-to-day work, enhancing efficiency in research and preparation.
• Support Senior Sales Team: Assist in researching and prioritizing prospective clients, building outreach materials, and securing first meetings for senior sales partners.
• Partner Network Development: Build and maintain a professional network with peers at law firms, audit firms, and other related companies, identifying referral opportunities.
• Campaign Execution & Events: Assist in building target lists, executing outreach for sales campaigns, and supporting the advance meeting program for industry conferences.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate or someone early in their career with a curiosity about financial markets, specifically private capital.
• Experience: A drive to succeed, motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with an ambition for a career in commercial & sales.
• Skills: Clear, confident written and verbal communication, analytical instincts, resilience, self-direction, organized, and competency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technology.
• Bonus: Any exposure to CRM systems (especially Salesforce, Outreach), prior exposure to private equity, private credit, real estate or infrastructure, or a second language.
