Job Description:

This is a College Intern – IT Help Desk position at SRP located in Tempe, AZ. The internship is scheduled to begin around June 26, 2025.

As a Solution Center/Help Desk Student Intern, you will:

• Provide phone/chat assistance to internal SRP clients with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating patience while effectively dealing with client problems.
• Perform problem-solving over the phone or through chat and determine the appropriate course of problem escalation as required, while ensuring detailed written documentation.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in college for a minimum of 6 credit hours (100+ level) during the Spring and Fall semesters to qualify.
• Actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours that are college level (100) or above over the course of a regular semester (Spring and Fall) and must be working towards a degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ideal candidate will be a college Freshman, Sophomore or Junior in an IT related curriculum

Pay:

• $18.75 per hour for an undergraduate intern
• $20.80 per hour for a graduate intern

Preferred experience includes familiarity with many of the following:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Outlook, Exchange
• Microsoft 365 (MS365) applications
• Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10
• Internet Explorer, Chrome and Microsoft EDGE to include understanding configuration and properties
• Networking, to include general knowledge of user accounts and login, FTP, dial-up/VPN, and Intranet vs. Internet
• Desktop hardware, including the ability to problem-solve hardware component issues
• Laptop hardware, including wireless
• Smartphones, Android and iPhones
