Job Description:

Texas First Rentals is seeking a highly motivated College Intern for the summer at their Fate, TX location. This internship offers hands-on, on-the-job training under the direction and guidance of the Manager. The Intern will gain valuable experience and develop skills in various branch functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Works in all facets of the yard, wash rack, and shop, gaining practical experience in equipment maintenance and operations.
• Shadows and assists with Inside Sales functions at the counter, learning about customer service, sales processes, and rental agreements.
• Works closely with the Branch Manager to understand the overall operational processes of the rental business.
• Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
• Receives reviews and coaching with the designated mentor.
• Adheres to regular and punctual attendance requirements.
• Prioritizes safety in all tasks and adheres to all applicable safety policies, company procedures, and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support branch operations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, communication, and accessing information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic math calculation skills and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions.

Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a college degree in Business, Ag Mechanics, or a related field.
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
