Job Description

This is a co-op position where the successful candidate will be directly engaged in research and development (R&D) projects. These projects will be within one of Saint-Gobain’s core material platforms, which include:
• Abrasives
• Ceramics
• Construction Products
• High-Performance Polymers
• Technical Textiles

The co-op will collaborate with world-class researchers, contributing significantly to solutions within key development programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Must be currently enrolled as a student in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. program in one of the following disciplines: Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Ceramics, Design, Data Science, or other related technical disciplines.
Mindset: Possess a creative problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to tasks.
Analytical Skills: Ability to effectively analyze data and articulate findings in clear, concise reports.
Interpersonal & Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration and excellent organizational skills.
Safety & Teamwork: Capable of working safely and effectively within a diverse R&D team, actively supporting and contributing to a strong culture of safety.
Experience (Plus): Previous research or intern experience is considered a valuable asset but is not strictly required.
