Student Co-Op – Toledo, OH (Summer 2027) | Cenovus Energy

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze process, environmental, safety, operational, maintenance, and financial data to support performance improvements and identify trends.
• Assist with process monitoring, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, system design, maintenance planning, and financial reporting activities.
• Support EH&S and process safety compliance through audits, documentation, and adherence to relevant standards.
• Collaborate with various operations, maintenance, engineering, and vendor teams to execute projects safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program) at the time of the intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term, or registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program. New graduates are not eligible.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work full-time in the U.S. for the duration of the work term, starting in May 2027.
• Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, solid analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel), strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and effective decision-making skills.
