• Team: Cloud Operations team within the Engineering organization, reporting to the Cloud Operations Lead and Engineering leadership.
• Mission: To support the continuous monitoring, security, and optimization of AWS cloud environments, contributing to robust and efficient cloud operations.
• Tech Stack: AWS, Python, Java, C++, SQL

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitoring: Monitor and support AWS cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Security: Identify and remediate cloud security gaps, vulnerabilities, and exposure risks within AWS.
• Operations: Conduct operational health checks, monitor alerts, and review system performance for improvement.
• Documentation: Document cloud infrastructure, operational processes, and security controls to maintain clarity and compliance.
• Research: Research and recommend improvements related to cloud operations, automation, and overall security posture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• Experience: Exposure to AWS services and cloud computing concepts, along with a basic understanding of networking, security principles, and system administration.
• Skills: Familiarity with Python, Java, C++, or SQL, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with scripting, automation, or monitoring tools.
