The Tone:

This Client Service Coordinator role is essential as it supports our teams by providing direct bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant standards.

• Mission: This role is responsible for providing essential bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Accounting Management: Assist with and manage the diverse accounting and bookkeeping requirements for multiple clients.
• Software Implementation & Support: Provide support for QuickBooks, including setting up both Desktop and Online versions, and guide clients on software navigation and usage.
• Financial Record Keeping: Execute core accounting tasks such as posting and reconciling the general ledger, performing bank reconciliations, and accurately recording fixed assets and depreciation.
• Tax & Payroll Compliance: Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely remittance of payroll taxes, and complete various tax forms including property tax returns, Form 1096, and Form 1099s.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain consistent communication with clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, which includes traveling to client offices and participating in critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A High School Diploma is required, alongside a foundational understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, encompassing debits and credits, bank reconciliations, compilations, and payroll processing.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a professional bookkeeping environment, demonstrating practical application of accounting concepts. Specific experience in setting up both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, for data management and analysis. The role requires strong client service abilities, coupled with developing project management, analytical reasoning, interpersonal skills, and effective communication. The ability to be adaptable and maintain integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness is crucial.
