Capacity Portfolio Representative Intern | C.H. Robinson

The Tone:
This is a paid internship at C.H. Robinson, a company dedicated to helping the world’s most prominent companies achieve their business goals through innovative logistics and transportation solutions. Located across various U.S. locations, this role offers an opportunity to learn the intricacies of supply chain optimization and business development. Interns will directly engage with carriers, building strong relationships and providing solutions that drive efficiency and success for our diverse client base.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn Industry Practices: Work alongside industry professionals to learn internal business processes and supply chain best practices in the logistics and transportation sector.
• Develop Relationships: Build strong relationships internally across teams and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers to foster collaborative partnerships.
• Utilize Proprietary Technology: Learn and effectively use best-in-class technology systems, specifically C.H. Robinson’s proprietary global supply chain platform, Navisphere®.
• Apply Diverse Skills: Acquire and apply skills across multiple critical areas of the transportation and logistics industry, including sales, negotiation, operations management, and transportation information systems.
• Drive Business Growth: Gain hands-on experience in driving business growth and delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base within the sales team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student currently in their junior year, preparing for the late spring/summer 2026 internship.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required, as the program is designed for junior year undergrad students.
• Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven team environment while also delivering independent results, exhibit strong relationship-building capabilities, and be driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with high attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Bonus: Values a diverse and inclusive work environment, or is pursuing a business, sales, marketing, supply chain, communications, or a related major at a Junior or Senior level.
