Intern, Marketing and Sales Support | Lazard

The Tone:
This is a 6-month internship at Lazard, located in Brussels, Belgium. Lazard is a preeminent financial advisory and asset management firm globally, distinguished by its culture of continuous knowledge sharing and collaboration among its 3,000 professionals. This role is crucial for supporting the Belgium and Luxembourg Distribution team, helping to expand the visibility and commercial reach of Lazard Asset Management in the region through direct involvement in marketing initiatives and client support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Coordination: Monitor and manage the marketing activities for the Belgium and Luxembourg Distribution team, encompassing events, content production, internal communication, and campaigns.
• Sales Support: Contribute to the overall commercial efforts by creating client and prospect presentations, drafting key selling points, and assisting with tailored client requests.
• Event Management: Prepare and execute events for the retail business, ensuring smooth coordination and successful delivery.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Prepare quarterly management updates, track the performance of flagship funds and peer groups, and send specific financial documents to clients.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Interact regularly with portfolio management, client servicing, legal, compliance, and the private banking team to develop a transversal understanding of the asset management industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a university or business school program (Master’s level 1 or 2) with a specialization in Communication, Marketing, Business, or any related sector, demonstrating a strong interest in finance.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required beyond current academic enrollment.
• Skills: Good command of English, French/Dutch; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Curiosity, autonomy, rigor, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Previous internship experience in marketing, communication, events, sales support, or finance.
