• Mission: Optimize the allocation of HGT capacity to loads within an assigned geographic territory, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan Loads: Analyze Driver Optimization solutions and assign loads to HGT Capacity, complying with federal safety regulations, geographic considerations, and equipment constraints to maximize driver utilization.
• Execute Market Plan: Support the development of the market plan and daily execute all inbound and outbound loads for an assigned geographic territory.
• Manage Disruptions: Re-plan loads as necessary due to delays, equipment failure, or driver issues to maintain service.
• Ensure Coverage: Proactively work with Terminal Operations, Intermodal Operations, and Account Management to confirm capacity coverage in advance of anticipated customer requirements.
• Meet Metrics: Accountable for meeting established metrics, including loaded miles, driver utilization, service, safety, and cost per load.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Experience: Preferred 0-1 years in transportation operations, specifically truckload or intermodal. Proficiency with transportation management systems in a large corporate environment is also preferred.
• Skills: Possess strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with being a self-starter and highly motivated.
• Bonus: Available for weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
