Job Title: Camera Host Tools Intern

Department: Vision Business Unit – Image Signal Processing (ISP) Team

Role Overview:

The Camera Host Tools Intern will be an integral part of indie’s Vision Business Unit, providing essential support to the Image Signal Processing (ISP) team. This role will focus on various camera host tools and firmware projects, involving close collaboration with imaging algorithms, firmware, and image quality teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our camera solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Enhancements: Assist in improving and expanding the current suite of camera host tools designed for indie’s advanced camera and video processor solutions.
  • Develop Automation Scripts: Create and implement automation scripts to streamline and accelerate camera bring-up processes, facilitating the migration of existing systems to new and optimized environments.
  • Infrastructure Development: Contribute to the development of robust infrastructure for comprehensive testing, validation, and efficient troubleshooting of ISP hardware and firmware subsystems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • GUI Familiarity: Demonstrated familiarity with graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
  • Programming Experience (C/C++): Coursework or project experience utilizing C and/or C++.
  • Programming Experience (Python): Coursework or project experience utilizing Python.
