Business Operations Intern | Stage 2 Capital

The Tone:
This is an internship at Atomus, located in San Francisco, CA. Atomus’ mission is to provide world-class cybersecurity software delivered as managed services, primarily for the world’s most critical organizations, including those in aerospace, defense, and AI industries. This role is crucial for keeping a fast-moving cybersecurity startup running smoothly, offering hands-on experience across various operational facets and directly supporting the cofounders on key initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Shipments: Coordinate and manage physical shipments of security products to customers, including tracking orders, preparing packages, and communicating delivery timelines.
• E-commerce: Help manage and maintain the company’s Shopify store, which involves inventory tracking, product listings, and order fulfillment.
• Events: Plan and coordinate team events and travel logistics to ensure smooth operations and experiences.
• Projects: Support the cofounders on a variety of strategic and operational projects as company priorities evolve.
• Efficiency: Utilize AI tools and agents to streamline workflows and increase efficiency across various tasks and responsibilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program at a Bay Area college or university, ideally pursuing a technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools and a strong preference for using AI agents to get work done faster. Comfortable managing logistics and coordinating shipments or deliveries.
• Skills: A good eye for design whether formatting documents or organizing a storefront, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work reliably and independently while juggling multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Interest in cybersecurity, technology, or the startup ecosystem; experience with Lovable or similar AI-powered app building tools; experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms; experience coordinating events, travel, or conference logistics; previous experience with shipping, logistics, or inventory management; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion); familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) for light creative tasks; or previous internship or work experience in an office or operations role.
