About the Role: Brand Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)
This exciting internship opportunity for Summer 2026 places you at the heart of Cornerstone Building Brands’ marketing efforts. As a Brand Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of vital regional and national brand marketing initiatives. These initiatives are strategically designed to significantly increase awareness, preference, and engagement among our diverse target audiences, including distributors, dealers, contractors, and homeowners.
This position offers a practical platform to apply fundamental marketing principles and develop creative skills across various projects. You will contribute to key areas such as advertising campaigns, project management, competitive analysis, and content creation, ensuring all efforts align seamlessly with our overarching brand strategy and business objectives.
What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
The Brand Marketing Intern will be actively involved in a range of dynamic tasks, providing comprehensive exposure to modern brand marketing operations:
• Campaign Development & Execution: Assist in the strategic development and flawless execution of both regional and national brand advertising campaigns across a diverse media mix, including digital, social, video, print, and broadcast platforms.
• Project Management Support: Provide essential day-to-day project management support, meticulously ensuring that all campaign assets, timelines, and deliverables are organized, tracked, and remain on schedule.
• Competitive Intelligence: Conduct thorough competitive research, encompassing detailed media spend analysis and creative benchmarking, to inform and enhance brand strategy and future campaign planning.
• Social Media Engagement: Actively participate in social media content creation, supporting vital tasks such as copywriting, creative brainstorming, content scheduling, and community engagement initiatives.
• Content Creation: Draft compelling blog posts, engaging website content, and impactful brand storytelling assets that meticulously align with established editorial calendars and messaging frameworks.
• Email Marketing Management: Manage the deployment of targeted email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and effective communication with our audience.
• Material Assembly: Help assemble crucial marketing materials, including comprehensive creative briefs, impactful presentation decks, detailed campaign recaps, and insightful reporting documents.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various cross-functional teams, notably Creative, Product Marketing, and Communications, to gather necessary information and facilitate the routing of materials for review and approval.
• Documentation & Organization: Maintain highly organized files and documentation related to marketing assets, competitive insights, and comprehensive campaign materials.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with additional brand-related tasks and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
What You’ll Need: Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a closely related field.
• Technical Proficiency (Required): Proficiency in MS Office suite, with strong command of PowerPoint and Word, is essential.
• Technical Proficiency (Preferred): Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud is highly preferred and will be a significant asset.
