Brand Marketing & Editorial Intern | House of Aama

The Tone:
This is an internship at House of Aama, located in Los Angeles. House of Aama is a boutique luxury fashion house that creates collections exploring memory, folklore, and cultural traditions through fashion, storytelling, and historical research. This role supports the founders and Creative Director, contributing to the daily communication and public presence of the brand with intention, consistency, and care.

• Mission: This person will help communicate House of Aama’s work through marketing, editorial, and content initiatives.
• Tech Stack: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar), Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Notion, Asana, Airtable, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, UTM links, AI-powered tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Management: Plan and maintain editorial content calendars across social media, newsletters, and campaigns, developing and publishing content that reflects House of Aama’s visual identity and voice.
• Digital Communication: Support the day-to-day management of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, including scheduling content and monitoring community engagement.
• Campaign Execution: Assist with seasonal collection launches, integrated marketing campaigns, partnership activations, and basic paid social initiatives.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance, audience engagement, and traffic metrics, preparing reports to inform future content and publishing decisions.
• Brand Documentation: Capture behind-the-scenes content during studio days, fittings, photoshoots, and events, supporting the team during special projects and seasonal activations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Passionate about fashion, design, storytelling, and culture; interested in building a career in brand marketing, editorial communications, or creative strategy.
• Experience: Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms, including familiarity with social media scheduling and community management.
• Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; strong visual storytelling with an eye for composition; organized, dependable, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Bonus: Basic knowledge of paid social advertising, SEO principles, or analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify); experience capturing and editing short-form video; familiarity with email marketing platforms or Adobe Creative Suite.
