Position Overview: Brand Experiential Intern

The Brand Experiential Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting event execution and various marketing initiatives. This hands-on position involves managing pertinent data entry, conducting outreach to identify potential community partners, and offering comprehensive support for event logistics. Responsibilities span from on-site event assistance, setup, and breakdown, to post-event analysis, researching new event opportunities, tracking inventory, and assisting with promotional item management. This internship offers invaluable practical experience in both event management and brand marketing within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide crucial on-site support during event execution to guarantee seamless operations and foster an overall positive guest experience.
  • Assist actively with event execution on-site, including the identification of new partners and vendors to enhance event offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with Production Associates for event setup and breakdown, which includes the physical lifting and transporting of boxes, tents, and other essential equipment.
  • Compile and rigorously analyze event post-mortem information to evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and pinpoint areas for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update community partner information and event details accurately on the Monday.com platform.
  • Conduct thorough research into potential event opportunities across NYC, exploring suitable venues, promising brand partnerships, and sponsorship prospects that could significantly enhance brand awareness and target audience engagement.
  • Aid in the meticulous maintenance of event materials inventory, ensuring all equipment remains in excellent working condition.
  • Identify trending promotional items that align effectively with MetroPlusHealth’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the website team to ensure regular event postings on the company site and other relevant community calendars.
  • Perform diverse ad-hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating strong flexibility and the ability to adapt swiftly to evolving needs and priorities.

Work Shifts

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess an exceptionally high level of detail-orientation coupled with superior organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Hold a genuine desire to assist New Yorkers and passionately promote brand awareness on behalf of MetroPlusHealth.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, a requirement for event setup and breakdown duties.
