The Tone:
This is an internship at SideBy, located in various campuses as part of city-by-city activations. SideBy is building a platform to help individuals form meaningful, platonic connections through profile-based discovery, local events, and shared experiences. This role is crucial for introducing SideBy to campuses, fostering new communities, and directly supporting the company’s growth alongside the founding team. You will gain firsthand experience growing an early-stage startup rather than observing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach: Introduce SideBy to students through direct campus outreach and relationship building initiatives.
• Representation: Represent SideBy effectively at campus events, club fairs, and various community gatherings.
• Event Planning: Organize social events designed to encourage genuine, in-person friendships among students.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with student organizations, campus leaders, and local businesses.
• Product Feedback & Growth: Gather user feedback to improve the product experience and track growth initiatives to measure effectiveness.

• Background: Entry-Level, Student role. This internship requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for building stronger campus communities.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required for this student internship. Candidates should demonstrate a natural inclination for meeting new people.
• Skills: Self-starter initiative, effective relationship building, event planning, and an ability to track and measure growth metrics.
