Brand Ambassador Intern (Campus Growth) | SideBy

The Tone:
This is an internship at SideBy, located on-campus at various universities for city-by-city activations. SideBy is developing a platform designed to foster meaningful, platonic connections, moving beyond superficial interactions to help individuals meet people they genuinely want to know through profile-based discovery, local events, and shared experiences. The role is pivotal in introducing SideBy to university campuses this Fall, playing a direct role in the company’s next stage of growth. Interns will gain hands-on experience growing an early-stage startup by working closely with the founding team to build vibrant student communities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campus Engagement: Lead direct campus outreach efforts to introduce SideBy to students and build initial awareness and relationships.
• Event Management: Represent SideBy at campus events, club fairs, and community gatherings, and help organize social events to foster genuine friendships.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with student organizations, campus leaders, and relevant local businesses to expand SideBy’s reach and impact.
• Marketing & Growth: Brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns specific to your campus, while tracking growth initiatives to measure effectiveness.
• Product Contribution: Gather valuable user feedback from the student community and relay insights to the product team to inform and improve the platform’s experience.

• Background: Entry-Level student passionate about building stronger communities on campus.
• Experience: Proven ability to take initiative and a natural enjoyment in meeting new people, building communities, and bringing new ideas to life.
• Skills: Campus outreach, event planning and execution, community relationship building, marketing campaign development, user feedback collection.
• Bonus: A strong curiosity for startups, entrepreneurship, marketing, or product growth, coupled with a desire to make a measurable impact.
