The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday through Friday Schedule
• Location: In-person, Thompson’s Station, TN (great for residents of Columbia, TN)
• Pay: $18–$20 hourly based on experience and RBT certification (training is paid at a lower rate)
• Team: Works directly under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Mission: Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children with Autism develop essential skills, improve communication, and prepare for school.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Therapy Provision: Work directly with children in a clinical setting, creating an environment that champions continued skill acquisition, development of functional communication, peer interactions, and school readiness.
• Clinical Learning & Application: Learn foundational and advanced therapy techniques directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), applying this knowledge to provide life-transforming therapy to children with Autism.
• Treatment Plan Fidelity: Consistently review and implement individualized behavior plans and instructional materials, ensuring strict adherence to prescribed interventions and monitoring treatment outcomes diligently.
• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete daily progress notes that detail the implementation of the intervention plan and track patient progress.
• Milestone Celebration: Actively participate in celebrating both major and minor victories and milestones achieved by children and their families, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position that requires candidates to be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience in Applied Behavior Analysis or working with children with Autism is necessary.
• Experience: Zero years of prior experience are required. Hopebridge provides comprehensive paid training to equip individuals with the skills needed, including full support and payment for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification process.
• Skills: Receptiveness to learning and applying complex behavioral therapy techniques; strong foundational interpersonal skills for effective interaction and engagement with children; meticulous attention to detail for reviewing and implementing plans; and clear communication abilities for accurate daily progress documentation.
• Bonus: While not required, residing in Columbia, TN, is considered a great fit for this location.
