Job Title: Barista / Food Service Associate (Contract to Hire)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista / Food Service Associate. This entry-level, contract-to-hire position is based fully onsite in Wellington, FL, and offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional service in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and guests warmly.
- Prepare coffee and food menu selections accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure order accuracy and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain the timeliness of service delivery.
- Clean all assigned work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors and refrigerators.
- Re-stock food and non-food supplies in work areas as needed.
- Make hand-crafted, quality beverages according to customer specifications.
- Operate cash registers and credit card machines.
- Field customer concerns or questions, striving to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages.
- Remove garbage and boxes from the department following established policies and procedures.
- Record daily temperatures of food, freezers, and refrigerators.
- Work in the dish room, cleaning all necessary items daily.
- Sweep and mop floors in the serving and dining areas.
- May be cross-trained for other positions within the department to enhance versatility.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills in all interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, co-workers, hospital, and supervisory staff.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke and initiate a stroke alert overhead as per protocol.
- Verbalize the stroke alert process effectively.
- Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1-hour online training.

Pay And Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00/hr.
