The Tone:
This is a contract-to-hire position with TEKsystems, located in Wellington, FL. While TEKsystems is a leader in business and technology services, this role is critical for providing essential daily support to visitors and guests by serving beverages and food. This position ensures smooth daily operations by maintaining service timeliness, order accuracy, and a clean environment.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Ensure seamless daily service by preparing and serving beverages and food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Greet and Serve: Welcome visitors and guests, taking their coffee, tea, or food menu selections and preparing custom beverages.
• Maintain Operations: Ensure order accuracy, provide outstanding customer service, and deliver timely service while managing stock and cleaning work areas.
• Handle Transactions: Operate cash registers and credit card machines accurately for all customer purchases.
• Ensure Safety and Cleanliness: Record daily food, freezer, and refrigerator temperatures, remove garbage, and maintain a clean environment in serving and dining areas.
• Customer Relations and Emergency Response: Professionally address customer concerns and questions, and initiate stroke alerts as needed after recognizing symptoms.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring previous retail or food service experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated barista experience in a professional setting.
• Skills: Strong retail customer service expertise, proven hospitality skills, and general customer service abilities.
• Bonus: A minimum of two years of hospitality experience is preferred.
